Assembly of HTV PRINTS

To attach the motif to textile, use a hard surface, e.g. a wooden cutting board or something else hard to put the garment/fabric on.

Place the motif on the garment/fabric where you want it with the transparent plastic film facing up.

Place a piece of baking paper or a thin towel over it and press the iron over with proper weight (approx. 30 kg). You should not iron on the motif without pressing. Standing on a chair or placing the cutting board on the floor can help here.

For temperature and pressing time see below:

Smooth vinyl: Press time 5-10 sec, 120 degrees. The plastic film is removed hot.

Glitter vinyl: Press time 15 sec 160 degrees. The plastic film is removed hot or cold.

Reflex vinyl: Press time 10-15 sec, 150 degrees. The plastic film is removed hot.

If you have 2 dots on the iron, it corresponds to about 140-160 degrees, but feel free to measure the temperature with a thermometer as it can vary between different irons. A frying thermometer works great for this.

Start in one corner and carefully pull the plastic film diagonally away from the print. If the motif follows with the plastic film up, press a few more seconds.

When you have removed the plastic film from the motif, put back the baking paper/thin towel again and press again for about 5-10 seconds. When you see the textile fibers through the motif, it fits properly.

Wash the garment inside out, so that the pressure is on the inside, at up to 40 degrees (up to 60 degrees with reflex pressure if the garment allows this).

Wait at least 24 hours after application before the first wash. Only the smooth vinyl can withstand tumble drying, but I don't recommend it as it wears out faster.

If the motif starts to come off in the future, just press it down again but don't forget the baking paper/thin towel.
