Panels
Panels are a piece of fabric with a motif that fits well for e.g. the front of a sweater and which is matched with plain or patterned fabric. A panel usually only has one image, while the matching meter piece has the same images repeatedly.
The panels can also be used for one side of a pillow or why not a bag. Only your imagination sets the limits.
The pictures are examples of what the color is like. The color may appear differently depending on your screen.
If you want the same color of the fabric as you previously had, it is good to write down when you bought it, the colors can still differ between different dye baths.
A patterned fabric that has many different figures, e.g. animals and flowers, the figures are recurring, which can mean that all the figures do not appear on smaller pieces under one metre. Some fabric patterns require you to buy a certain amount to get the whole pattern, on these fabrics it is stated how much must be purchased.
Vad betyder det att ett tyg är:
- Ekologiskt
Bomullen som tyget är gjort av är odlat ekologiskt d.v.s. utan bekämpningsmedel men resten av processen behöver inte vara ekologisk utan kan vara full med kemikalier. - GOTS certifierat
GOTS är en speciellt framtagen certifiering för allt tyg.
GOTS står för Global Organic Textile Standard och är den vanligaste internationella
miljömärkningen för textil. Standarden innehåller många delar, allt från
odlingen till färgning, beredning och arbetsförhållanden och dessa ska alltså vara fria från kemikalier som är farliga för hälsan både hos stora som små.

En STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® certifiering innebär att produkten uppfyller höga humanekologiska krav, d v s inte innehåller kemikalier i halter som är hälsoskadliga.
Certifiering kan ske för produkter i alla olika steg i den textila kedjan från fibrer till färdiga slutprodukter samt tillbehör. Testerna utförs endast hos något av de välrenommerade textila forsknings- och testinstitut som är anslutna till OEKO-TEX® Association. Swerea är det enda institut i Sverige som har rätt att certifiera enligt STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX®.
